Contest 45 - Thanksgiving Contest

AND THE WINNERS ARE...







The owners of the group thought we should do something a little different this year and throw a spitfire Thanksgiving contest just to try something new!

For this contest we will be paying homage to Disney's Native American characters! Read on for more info!




- A Native American Disney character must be in your picture and the main focus or at least sharing the focus.

- You can include other characters in the picture, but just remember your focus.

- You can draw up to five Native American pictures in your picture, but that's the limit. The reason being in the past the person who drew the most characters always won based solely on drawing everyone's favorite character.

- You DO NOT have to draw a thanksgiving turkey, holiday decorations etc in your picture unless you want to.

Extra Points:
If you comment on all the entries with a meaningful, thoughtful comment, you'll get an extra five points toward your popular vote score. Must be at least two sentences.

- TV shows are allowed, but please choose from this list of TV shows so we don't stray too far from the Disney path.

- Regular group rules still apply. Be sure to read those if you're not up on them.

- You can have two entries, but that's the limit.

- Keep it clean. No nudity, gore, or nipples poking through clothes. NO FETISHES! G-rated, please!

- You may enter the contest even if you're not a member. Comment in this journal with a link to your entry when you're done so I can add it here.

- Any medium is allowed. That means writing, too.

- Plagiarism is not allowed. (Pretty obvious rule) No tracing. No one should have an unfair advantage in our contests.

- Your entry must have been created for this contest. In other words, you can't enter a piece you did before the creation of this contest.  [November 16th, 2015]

- No gender-bending.

- To submit your entry, simply submit it to our Contest 45 - Spitfire Thanksgiving Contest folder in our gallery!
Please do not submit it to any other folder, or we may miss it.

- And please be aware it can take up to a day for us to list your entry here/ accept it into the group. We have about 20,000 members, so it takes us a little bit of time to get through all our messages. If you've been waiting for more than a day and a half, THEN you can send us a note and ask what's up. At any rate, your entry WILL be added before the due-date, we promise.

- When the contest is over, we'll put up a  journal with all the entries on it, and the members will vote on which one they think is best. And, a panel of judges will decide on three other winners.

- Three winners will be chosen by popular vote, and three will be chosen by a panel of judges (unless we don't get enough entries. In that case we'll only have a popular vote section)

Your entries are due the 24th at midnight Texas Time.
There will be no extensions because the winners will be announced on Thanksgiving. Use your time wisely and don't procrastinate!




Three prizes will be given by popular vote, and three will be given by our panel of judges. If we don't get at least 20 entries, then we'll remove the judge's section.
